  • Transcript and Record Requests

Linked is a form that you can fill out to receive your official transcript (all information on the form is required).

How can I get a copy of my records, including transcripts?

Student records follow the student from school to school at the DOE. Your last school, or current school, is always the best place to start when looking for student records, including transcripts. You can request your records at any time using the instructions in the following sections. We do not provide duplicate diplomas.

    Current Students

If you are a student currently attending a DOE school, you may request a transcript from your guidance counselor at any time.

    Former Students

Former students must print and fill out the Student Records Request Form, below, to make a request for records, including transcripts.

Changing Your Name and Other Information in Your Records

If you are a current student and need your name or other information changed in your records, reach out to your school.

If you are a former student and have changed your name since leaving the DOE, your school will provide you a new transcript, diploma, and other records with your current name. Contact your last school as described in the “Permanent Records” section of the Guidelines to Support Transgender and Gender Expansive Students for more information. These procedures also apply to former students who have changed their name for other reasons. If you need other information changed in your records, contact your last school.

Transcripts for Former Students Whose School Has Closed

If your former high school has closed, another school now has your transcript and can provide you with a copy. use this tool to find out which school.

BHS Civics for All

Principal's Corner

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I trust this message finds you well. As we approach the end of the academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of adhering to our school uniform policy.

The school uniform serves as a symbol of unity, discipline, and pride within our educational community at BHS. It fosters a sense of belonging and equality among students, regardless of background or socioeconomic status. Additionally, wearing the uniform helps to minimize distractions and allows students to focus more effectively on their academic pursuits.

It is imperative that all students come to school dressed in the appropriate uniform each day. This includes wearing the designated shirt, pants/skirt. By complying with this policy, students demonstrate their commitment to upholding the standards of excellence set forth by our school and show their commitment to integrity.

I would like to emphasize that failure to adhere to the uniform policy will result in consequences in line with our disciplinary procedures outlined in our BHS Student/Family Handbook that you received in September. These consequences may include but are not limited to:

1. Verbal warnings and counseling sessions.
2. Written warnings and parent/guardian meetings.
3. Temporary suspension from extracurricular activities.

We understand that there may be circumstances beyond your control that prevent your child from wearing the proper uniform. In such cases, we ask that you communicate with the school administration as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.

As partners in your child's education, your support in reinforcing the importance of the school uniform is greatly appreciated. Together, we can instill values of responsibility, respect, and accountability in our students, preparing them for success both inside and outside the classroom.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or our administrative team.

Warm regards,

Justine Sharoyan
