My name is Nicole Mallisham-Stewart. I was born in New Jersey but spent my younger days in Guyana and last year of high school and College in Alabama.

I currently hold a Master of Science in Biology and have worked in the area of public for over 10 years. I recently decided that I wanted a change of pace and needed to give back to my community as an educator. I applied and was accepted into the NYC Fellows program as I continue my education in the field of Education.

I'm currently a Science/Special Education Teacher at Bronx Health Sciences. I find it extremely rewarding when I have helped a student and that feeling is what allows me to keep doing it. My vision is that students know how to navigate life after receiving the skills they need to succeed.

Fun fact, I love to travel, used to be a flight attendant for 10 months and I have 2 kids ( boy and girl).
